Sage Meadows Wonderful School Horses...

Sage Meadows currently has 6 amazing school horses in our lesson program.  They each excel in various disciplines and all have a knack for teaching their riders the art of horseback riding.  Come meet them... you will surely enjoy the ride!

C  I'M  SOMEBODY

"Drifter"  is a 16.2 hand Quarter Horse Gelding who is new to our program but has been a school horse for many years before coming here to Sage Meadows.  He knows his job well and has an extensive show career which comes in handy.  We are excited to have him and he seems delighted to be here.

WHOOPEE'S COVERGIRL

"Chaser"  is a 7 year old, 14.3 hand, Quarter Horse mare who has been shown AQHA, IHSA, Zone, USDF, IRHA, and Zone in various disciplines ranging from jumping to reining.  She is a very well-trained and sensitive horse that excells as our  most advanced rider mount.

QUEEN OF HEARTS

"Foxy"  is an 8 year old, 14.1 hand, Quarter Horse/Welsh cross who excells in jumping, huntseat, western, and teaching the little ones to ride.  She is as safe and steady as they come and is the ultimate confidence builder.  She is a great show horse and has taken many riders to their first show without a hitch.  She is definetely the barn favorite and for good reason.

TUCKER'S TWIST

"Tucker"  is a 15 year old. 14.0 hand, Paint/Welsh cross who does great in both jumping, huntseat and dressage.  He has a lot of "get up and go" which makes him one of the funnest horses to ride in the barn.  He is an exceptional teacher to riders of all ages and of all ability levels.

FAROUT BARLINK

"Buff"  is a 5 year old, 15.3 hand, BS Paint.  He is "Mr. Social" and loves to be around anybody.  He has 3 great gaits and the perfect disposition to be a fantastic lesson horse.  He is currently in training but once he has some more miles under him, he will be a great addition to our program.

WOM POM

Wom Pom is an older, 11.3 hand, POA/Shetland cross pony.  He is a loving, gentle, and talented pony that loves to teach our littlest riders the basics.  He is fairly new to our program but has quickly settled in and is now becoming our farm mascot. Everyone loves Wom Pom!
